the only choice I had was to fall asleep....

Two weeks ago Candice and I got the opportunity to go to California with my parents. It was for their 25th anniversary and they were kind enough to let us tag along. It was a trip of a life time. The reason we were going was for the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament. Most amazing thing ever! We arrived on Sunday morning, and stayed at one of the nicest hotels. At one point we were shoulder to shoulder with Jelena Jankovic, We ate next to Richard Gasquet, and a few other Frenchmen, and the best part was being in an elevator with Monfils, his coach, and 3 other pro tennis players, Yes i did talk to him, but I have to give my dad credit he started the conversation....  We sat around the campfire next to Tsonga. Everyday was full of something new. There were bikes available for us everyday, so we enjoyed a beautiful bike ride daily! My dad decided not to rent a car, and see how it would work... bikes ended up being the answer. We weren't too excited not having a car, but it ended up perfectly. Riding bikes around town was a blast. We would go to the grocery store, and pack dads backpack completely full, and laugh the whole way home. We would ride our bike to dinner and then race home to beat the dark. Mom and Dad had tickets 3 days, and Candice and I only had them on Wednesday. They had amazing seats. I couldn't believe how close we were! The tennis players are all so classy. We got so much sun that day, that we were sacrificing watching NADAL to be in the shade! We were able to watch Federer, Nadal, Djockovic, and Azerenka! It does not get better than that!! On Thursday Candice and me were kind of tired of the sun, so we didn't last too long at the pool. When we came in all i wanted was a lemonade or a smoothie or something that would cool me down a little bit, so I got back to the hotel, called room service, and ordered just a lemonade. I hurried and hopped in the shower and asked Candice to just sign the paper and put my lemonade on the table. I heard the doorbell ring, and Candice started laughing. The lemonade was 11 freaking dollars!! Crazy right?! I guess that what i get for being too lazy to walk down and get it myself. It was the coolest cup though, so I told my dad, if I (my dad) paid for an eleven dollar lemonade I am keeping this cup!! The rest of the trip was amazing. I am so grateful my parents let us come. We had such a great time, and I cherished almost every moment. Thank you mom and dad for everything, and letting us go! Love you!
